It's been awhile since I posted, but work has had me very busy. I just wanted to post something and get back in the game here! Some pretty amazing, beautiful birds, enjoy!

Those sure don't look like "Abs of Steel"? Looks more like a peen! Some parishioners at a Catholic church in Oklahoma are a bit pissed off by a 10 foot tall crucifix showing Jesus Christ with abs resembling a man's private parts.

The parish Rev. Philip Seeton said:

"There are a couple people who have left the parish. There are people in the parish who don’t like it and have stayed. I’ve had people who have vocally said that that’s what they see there. I’ve had people who have been just as vocal who said that’s not what they’re seeing there."

Doesn't somebody proof these things? What Art Director just got fired? Hahahaha....

A friend of mine, Kenny, had some lyrics to Mediate by INXS as his status on Facebook and it reminded me of Michael Hutchence. I loved that guy. He wreaked of sexuality in that rock 'n roll god style, but didn't come off feminine - although he could work a fur coat.

At the peak of the band's success and while on tour in Australia on the morning of November 22, 1997, Hutchence, aged 37, was found dead in his room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Double Bay, Sydney (now the Stamford Plaza). A belt found at the scene suggested that he had died by hanging.

The coroner of New South Wales determined that Hutchence's death was the result of suicide, but analysis of the witness statements in the coroner's report, the lack of a suicide note and other anecdotal evidence, such as the fact that Hutchence was found nude, has led some—including Hutchence's brother and other close relatives—to suggest that the death may have resulted from autoerotic asphyxiation.

That is what I believe, he loved to "Live, Baby, Live." Autoerotic asphyxiation is one tricky-dick, and so many people have been killed accidentally via that sexual fascination. I first heard about the subject while home sick one day watching Oprah. Anyways, here is my favorite video of the band, Hutchence and his fur coat, working it in Prague, an incredibly beautiful city Dave and I visited two years ago.

I love up close and vivid images, so when I came across these images I had to share. Macro Photography is the technique of photographing a subject up close. Typically the subject fills most, if not the entire, image plane. Stunning macro photography is generally best achieved with special equipment, including a specially designed lens. However, most modern cameras (point and shoot especially) have macro setting options built into the camera; making it a very common, but no less stunning, technique.

Macro photography is a beautiful way to take what is often normal subject matter, and make it extraordinary, simply by offering a new perspective. Its often these types of photos that turn out the best. When we are provided a glimpse of something we might not otherwise pay much attention to is all of a sudden (in effect) shoved in our face, we cannot help but stop and take notice.

Wow, after years of battling colon cancer, an American icon has passed.

This poster back in the 1976 established her sex appeal and status as a sex symbol for the rest of her life and introduced little boys and men to many a grateful image for personal reasons, ahem.  It sold 12 million copies!

One of the original Charlie's Angels, Farrah went on to make made for TV movies, big screen movies and even Broadway.

She married "Six Million Dollar Man" actor Lee Majors, whom she later divorced after nine years and has been with Ryan O'Neil since. She also appeared in Playboy in 1995.  Thanks for the memories!
